About Anlo Dukor
The Anlo Dukor is the supreme traditional governing body of the 36 states of Anlo, located in Ghana’s Volta Region. It serves as the unifying authority that upholds the values, customs, and heritage of the Anlo people, representing both their cultural soul and political organization.
At its heart is the Awoamefia of Anlo, the Paramount Ruler, supported by the Awadada of Anlo, the Warlord and traditional Prime Minister. Together, they guide the Anlo State, spearhead the annual Hogbetsotso Festival, and work to preserve the Anlo legacy for future generations.
